Engineers here choose their own tools. We invest deeply in a small "golden path" stack but stay out of the way beyond that. AI developer tools are standard across engineering, and the momentum is spreading. Design and product teams are increasingly getting curious and involved. We back that up with structure: regular internal AI community sessions to share what's working, dedicated time for engineers to build autonomous coding agents, and at least one team already using agents to validate UI tests in production workflows. We also have a dedicated AI working group tackling the harder questions ahead, like what happens to the traditional pull request as sync and async agents take on more of the development workflow. These aren't distant hypotheticals for us; they're active design problems we're working through now. The bet we're making isn't on any single tool. It's on building a team with the muscle to learn, experiment, and adapt continuously — because the tools will keep changing, and we want people who thrive in that.
